ABOUT ME
I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Creative Industries at the University of The Sunshine Coast. My mother attended here before me, and my youngest daughter is also attending USC. We are proud woman of First Nations heritage from the Wakka Wakka tribes, and my children have celebrated this through dance with the Jinibara people of northern Brisbane, Maleny, and Esk regions. I work in childcare though have owned several businesses including a winery and vineyard, and a restaurant.
I travelled around Australia in 2010 with my family home schooling and seeing our beautiful country.
As a younger person I worked with the Twelfth Night Theatre children's group and appeared in Skippy, Mission Impossible, and dozens of commercials and small roles.
I became a Justice of the Peace at 25 and have carried on this role for the last 32 years.
I am Treasurer of the Kilcoy Lions, was President of the Kilcoy Toastmasters, and have always been an active member of the school communities in the parents' associations. Now as a Grandmother I am really enjoying what this life has to offer.
